Make A Wish Alabama gives Four Year Old a Barbie Dream Camper
Nearly two and a half years ago the Mercer family received the unimaginable news that their baby girl, Eloise, was diagnosed with leukemia, shaking them to the core.
Helping in that journey is the Make A Wish foundation of Alabama, America’s Thrift Stores and Wind creek Casino.
They are teaming up to help families with children battling illness. Their latest wish has given a four year old girl her very own Barbie Camper.
Beating the odds, the Mercer family is grateful for what this camper represents. Â “We made friends in their cancer journey and some of them didn’t get to bring their kids home and they didn’t get that last hug or anything. We were thankful that we got to bring her home and we were thankful that we still get to love on her, to see that pretty smile and take her camping.” says Mom, Megan Mercer.
