Metro Forecasting Models — which provides forecasts for development demand, population growth and housing demand for communities nationwide — recently announced the appointment of David H. Farmer, PE, AICP, as chief executive officer. Farmer assumes the day-to-day operations from firm co-founder Dr. Paul Van Buskirk, who will continue as chairman of the board.

Five people have recently joined the board of directors for Hope Healthcare: Joe Gammons, principal at Office Furniture & Design Concepts; West McCann, market president and senior managing director of Northern Trust Wealth Management’s Lee County offices; Bob Simpson, president and CEO of LEESAR Regional Service Center and Co-operative Services of Florida; Sandy Stilwell, owner and CEO of Stilwell Enterprises and Restaurant Group; and Trudi K. Williams, CEO of TKW Consulting.

The Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting for RGD Marketing on Jan. 4, celebrating the launch of RGD’s services in Naples. RGD Marketing is an agency from Long Island that has been serving clients in New York for more than 30 years.

Leadership

The Leadership Collier Foundation, an affiliate of The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce, is accepting applications for the Class of 2018 Leadership Collier program. This program runs from September through March and includes 10 full-day sessions. Tuition is $2,200. Applications are due by 5 p.m. March 31.
