Atlanta Airport power outage cancels QC flights to and from Atlanta

A power outage at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta has cancelled flights heading from the QC to Atlanta.

All of the flights into and out of Atlanta to and from Moline have been cancelled.

NBC is reporting that the electrical issue at a Georgia Power Substation is to blame and the FAA stopped all flights into Atlanta Sunday afternoon.

In the terminals, a lot of passengers had to maneuver in the dark, posting videos to social media in the process.

The train connecting terminals at the airport is also affected along wiht data and cell phone service.

No word from Georgia Power as to when the repairs will be complete.
