“As an interior designer and buyer with Mathews Furniture + Design, I’m fortunate to travel the world: Paris, London, New York, Asia, the Middle East. This exposure inspires me to mix different styles. I adore combining classic richness with something exotic and bold. Fashion is also a big influence on my work. I just love Lee Jofa’s newest Oscar de la Renta collection. It’s modern, elegant, and chic, but it also has a little island flair that hints at Oscar’s native Dominican Republic. I want to wear this room! Finally, my longtime design mentor, Don Easterling, has taught me to appreciate the versatility of blue-and-white Chinese porcelain. Even a little bit of blue and white elevates any space.” —Nina Nash
