OF 55 MINUTES. LOTS OF CLOUDS TODAY. JUST A FEW SHOWERS OUT THERE NOW, BUT THE MAIN WEATHER FOCUS IS THIS GUY SPINNING AROUND. YOU CAN SEE THAT COUNTERCLOCKWISE SWIRL THERE. THAT IS AN UPPER LEVEL LOW WHICH IS JUST HANGING OUT OVER THE MIDWEST. IT IS SLOW TO MOVE EAST, SO WE WILL KEEP THE CHANCE FOR SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS, SOME THUNDERSTORMS IN OUR FORECAST, NOT ONLY TODAY, TONIGHT, AND TOMORROW BEFORE WE START TO SEE SOME BREAKS IN THE ACTION ON WEDNESDAY. SO THERE YOU GO TOMORROW. A PRETTY DECENT CHANCE OF SEEING SOME SCATTERED ACTIVITY ONCE AGAIN. MAYBE AREAS EAST OF THE RIVER WILL BE FAVORED TOMORROW FOR MORE RAIN. HERE COMES THE UPPER LEVEL PART OF THE SYSTEM, BRINGING IN SOME EARLY MORNING SHOWERS ON WEDNESDAY. THEN LOOK AT THIS. IT WRAPS IN SOME DRIER AIR WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON FOR SOME BREAKS OF SUNSHINE, SO THAT WILL BE A NICE TREAT AFTER A PRETTY CLOUDY STRETCH. HOW MUCH ADDITIONAL RAIN CAN YOU EXPECT? WELL, THE PREDICTOR IS GOING TO BOUNCE AROUND ON THESE TOTALS, BUT TAKE THEM AS A GENERALIZATION. SOME SPOTS COULD PICK UP A FEW TENTHS OF AN INCH, WHILE OTHER SPOTS COULD GET UP TO THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH OR AN INCH OF RAIN. IF YOU CONTINUE TO SEE THESE PERSISTENT SHOWERS, HERE’S THE TEN DAY FORECAST. WE’RE GOING TO BE IN THE 70S LOW 70S ALMOST ALL THE WAY THROUGH A LITTLE COOLER ON FRIDAY INTO THE 60S WITH SOME SHOWERS FOR THE WEEKEND. THAT SYSTEM SHOULD CLEAR OUT. WE’LL KEEP YOU POSTED. TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN
