Cambodia, Egypt agree to establish a bilateral consultation mechanism between foreign ministries

Deputy Prime Minister Sok Chenda Sophea, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on April 25, received a courtesy call from Hala Youssef Ahmed Ragab, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

The Deputy Prime Minister and the Ambassador noted with satisfaction the friendly relations and good cooperation between Cambodia and Egypt since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1953 and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation and mutual support in the international arena for the mutual benefit of both countries.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cambodia and Egypt agreed to establish a bilateral consultation mechanism between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs, which will be a forum for finding ways and means to promote cooperation in more potential areas between the two sides.
